Hydropower Equipment

Harbin Electric Machinery Co. Ltd (HEC) has dedicated herself in researching & manufacturing hydropower equipment with great concentration for the past 55 years ， HEC has provided more than 500 sets for about 200 domestic power stations, while more than 80 sets for 26 overseas power stations ．

 

    1951, The 800 kW Hydro-generating unit (for suxong power plant) in China was manufactured.

    1964, The 100MW Hydro-generating unit (for Yunfeng power plant) in China was developed.

    1980, The 125MW Kaplan Hydro-generating unit (for Gezhouba power plant) in China was in operation.

    1991, The 302.5MW Francis Hydro-generating unit(for Yantan power plant) with the largest runner     diameter in China was in operation.

    1992, The 200MW Kaplan Hydro-generating unit (for Shuikou power plant) which was the largest capacity in the world and with the max thrust load capacity in China was in operation.

    1999, HEC manufactured large scale air cooling Hydro-generating unit (for Ertan power plant) with unit capacity 550MW was in operation.

    2003, Exported Francis turbine with unit capacity 250MW was in operation (for Karun I and Soleman project in lran)

    2003, HEC manufactured 45MW Bulb Hydro-generating units (for Hongjiang power plant) which was the largest capacity in China were in operation.

    2003, HEC manufactured 700MW hydro-generating unit (for Three Gorges Left Bank power plant) which was the largest in size, thrust load and runner diameter in the world was in operation (water cooled generator).

    2006, Independently manufacture of 700MW hydro-generating unit (for three Gorges Right bank power house)(air-cooled generator)

    2008, 800MW for Xiangjiaba and 770MW for Xiluodu hydro-generating unit is in developing.

   

Turbo Generator

Since the first air-cooled Turbo-generator came out in 1958, a full-series of thermal products have been developed with the capacity from 3MW to 1100MW. It includes new type air-cooled series, hydrogen cooled series, double water-inner-cooled series, water-hydrogen and hydrogen cooled turbo-generators, gas turbine generators and short-circuit test generators used for low voltage switching test and high voltage switching test in China . The new type air-cooled series, which were widely used in combined cycle, cogeneration, cyclical fluidized bed and gas turbine generating projects, covered the scope of 30MW,50MW,60MW,100MW,125MW,135MW, 150M and 200MW. The entire hydrogen cooled turbo-generator series of 50MW, 100MW, 125MW is also the scope of HEC products. The hydrogen-water cooled turbo-generator series include three parts, one is the self-developed 200MW and 210MW turbo-generators, and the other is 300MW, 330MW, 350MW and 600MW turbo-generators where the technology is obtained by importing, redesigning and improving, and the third part is the self-developed set of 650 MW nuclear turbo-generators which has filled up the blank in this field of China.

In recent years, HEC manufactured the entire hydrogen-cooled 390H gas generator, the hydrogen-water cooled 1000MW ultra super-critical turbo-generator and the 200MW air cooled turbo-generator, at present. HEC is dedicating itself to develop 300MW air cooled, 270MW whole hydrogen-cooled and 1000MW nuclear turbo-generators.

    1958, The 25MW air cooled turbo-generator in China was in operation.

    1960, The 100MW internal hydrogen cooled Turbo-generator in China was in operation.

    1970, The 200MW double internal water cooled Turbo-generator in China was in operation.

    1972, The 200MW water-hydrogen and hydrogen cooled Turbo-generator in China was in operation.

    1984, The 210MW water-hydrogen and hydrogen cooled Turbo-generator in China entered into international market and was in operation.

    1987, The 600MW water-hydrogen and hydrogen cooled Turbo-generator in China was in operation.

    1995, The 6500MW Short-circuit test generator in China was in operation.

    1999, The 650MW water-hydrogen and hydrogen cooled nuclear Turbo-generator of optimized type in China was in operation.

    2001, The 150MW air cooled Turbo-generator. In China was in operation.

    2004, The 397MW water-hydrogen-hydrogen gas-generator.

    2006, Manufacturing of 220MW air-cooled generator is finished.

    2007, 1000MW large capacity Turbo-generator will be put into operation.
